Our Mission
The mission of PEMiRLS (Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Resource Limited Settings) is to improve the care of acutely ill and injured children by advancing education, fostering global partnerships, and supporting collaboration among pediatric emergency care providers working in resource-constrained environments.
What we offer
Education Modules
Modules built around emergency presentations, from rapid assessment and resuscitation through to trauma and
envenomation, each with narrated video and material for teaching sessions.
Resources
We share triage tools, assessment aids and referral guidance for clinicians managing acutely ill and injured
children where imaging and laboratory support are limited.
Global Community
To advance communication and collaboration, we are connecting emergency clinicians across
countries, so that experience gained in one setting informs practice in another.
